Alexandru serves as Director of Policy and Regulation at Frontier Compute Partners, leading regulatory strategy and government engagement for AI infrastructure projects. An FDI consultant and public affairs specialist, he has 16+ years of experience in strategy, economic development, and government advisory across key sectors. As a policy advisor, Alexandru has worked with the Romanian Ministry of Energy and the Ministry of Research, Innovation, and Digitalization, shaping investment and innovation strategies. Previously, he spent 7+ years at the World Bank, advising on economic policy and development initiatives. He was also a founding member of Romania’s Young Atlantic Treaty Association Bucharest chapter, contributing to regional security and economic cooperation efforts. He holds an MBA from City University of Seattle, Washington and is based in Bucharest.
